Jonty has been an associate partner of Levati for over five years. He is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist who has worked in a wide range of public and private sector businesses in the UK and globally since the 90’s. His early career was using applied psychology in areas such as assessment centres, competency analysis and interview techniques for large companies recruiting graduates for Shell and British Gas amongst others. After a stint as Global Head of Assessment at The Royal Bank of Scotland Group he became a full-time consultant working in leadership and team development. He has designed and delivered a wide range of learning and development events for inhouse teams and also public courses. Jonty has a particular interest in action learning and has started a part time side hustle offering this powerful technique to organisations who want to grow themselves as part of the growing green business agenda in UK and Europe. Linked-In Article

He also enjoys designing and leading large scale organisational events to develop the culture and behavioural norms that underpin successful strategic delivery. He facilitated two such events in 2024, one at the Northeast manufacturing site of a UK subsidiary of a global Indian pharma business. Also, an event with a UK defence business based in the Midlands.

His style is one of listening deeply to what is not being said as much as to what is being said, and to encourage leaders to cultivate adult working relationships that overcome the usual habits of defensiveness that get in the way. He lives on a canal boat near Tring in Hertfordshire and has family from previous relationships in both Scotland and Sweden where he lived for 18 years.
