World Cafe is referred to a lot nowadays and I often hear people say they used a World Cafe design when in fact they lifted one of the techniques, such as “hosts and travelers”.  The book has got far more in it than that. It is a rich description of theoretical underpinning (complex systems) with very practical advice for applying it to large groups and some fabulous examples of where it has been used all over the world to create powerful conversations.
